What we collect, what we don't, and why.
The Pantry Notes is a reading-first website. We do not run third-party ads, do not include third-party tracking pixels, and do not sell or share reader data with any party outside the systems we use to run the publication.
Analytics
If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and roughly measure which articles readers engage with, it is a cookieless option that does not assign persistent identifiers, does not collect IP addresses in a personally identifiable form, and is GDPR- and CCPA-compatible by default.
If you write to us, we keep the message until we have replied and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write back. We do not subscribe correspondents to anything.
Cookies
We use a single first-party preference cookie if you set one (e.g. dismissing a notice). We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of any data we hold about you, or for it to be deleted, by writing to us. We will respond within 30 days.
